CREATIVITY | COMMUNITY | TECHNOLOGY
We are a dedicated non-profit organization that uses music technology as an alternative learning solution with an emphasis on social emotional learning for children and teenagers. In addition, we use obscure music talent of college students and leverage their talent to entertain their peers (student body) in a concert-like environment.
About G-League
Our Growth League (G-League) Program is a conduit for creative learning. We approach creative learning by involving others to be taught and engage simultaneously through our activities and learning objectives for children, teenagers and up and coming music creators with a focus on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), new wave music technology and academic growth through music activities and our various subject matter experts. We also voice this by creating interactive organized activities that include direct engagement, creative thinking and self-expression.
With our school program, we believe creative thinking and expression carry a key piece in emotional development. We also believe one of the goals of education must be to develop people who are creative and innovative. Learners think from their own personal perspective, from the perspective of their upbringing and background. Through our G-League program, we encourage young learners to approach things in new ways in order to develop new ideas and approaches while coupling that with social emotional competencies being learned to initiate meaningful change.
G-League Program Objectives:
Implement the core competencies of social emotional learning through our various music courses and activities.
Cultivate one’s own and others’ creativity.
Collaborate with individuals / teams of people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
Integrate music composition, creative and social tools that align with academic subject matter.
Collaborate with schools, districts and organizations to develop more creative learning initiatives and opportunities.
Academic Benefits
Taking time to appreciate music is a reward on its own. For teachers and parents trying to help children succeed, that time could also improve Math, Science, English and Language Arts (ELAR) skills. Per Science Daily, students who take music courses score significantly better on Math, Science and English exams than their non-musical peers.
Below are examples of academic value our program correlates with:
Learning music improves math skills because at some level all music is math. Through beats, counts and measures in a song, math entertains and teaches younger students while composing music with our music tech offerings.
Our journaling activities aim to improve ELAR skills, in addition, enhance self-reflection, creative expression and stress management.
Receptive and expressive vocabulary, self-articulation and comprehension naturally expands and becomes exciting to students while creating and composing their own music.

About COLAB
ABL COLAB is a program we created for college students who love producing music of any genre. We help them create an identity as a music creator and provide a platform for them to compete against other fellow students in a tournament-style competition.
Traditionally, [beat battles] showcase competitors facing off as their beats are played. However, the contestants do not engage one another. Although the audience may cheer for their favorite student, they are not experiencing the full engagement possible during the performance and the producers are not leaving the desired impression on the audience.
Our solution is the creation of our state-of-the-art light show, to strengthen each producers’ music showcase and provide the audience with a “total experience” from a full production.
This enhancement allows producers to participate in the transformation of a simple beat battle into a league competition. It is no longer just a battle, it is the “March Madness” of beats. The goal is to be identified as the top ranked producer (or MVP) of college music producers. Through the ASAP Beat League, we track students personal scores and the schools overall Points Per Round (ABL PPR) score to see how a schools’ music production compares to other colleges.
Program Features:
College and ABL COLAB producer ceremony and producer branded profiles - social media and at event
Choreographed light show each battle round
